Description

Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Director of Support Services will be responsible for Information Technology, Human Resources, Janitorial Services and the Emergency Funds program, as well as various short-term projects. Lac La Ronge Indian Band (LLRIB) has six communities that are Self-Administered, meaning that individual and or a combination of communities administer programs and services for their membership. The La Ronge Internal Council has mandate to deliver programs and services for the communities of La Ronge, Sucker River and Hall Lake. The Head Office for these programs is located in the main Band Office in La Ronge.

Duties:
- Develop, manage and amalgamate Information Technology programs and services;
- Manage and amalgamate Human Resource programs and services;
- Manage the Emergency Funds programs and services;
- Manage the Janitorial programs and services;
- Provide administrative leadership, supervision, direction and support to all Support Services department employees, in accordance with the LLRIB Personnel Policy Manual;
- Recommend policy revisions, as required in the LLRIB Personnel Policy Manual;
- Ensure legal compliance with federal and provincial requirements;
- Coordinate and Ensure for the development of an Annual Report;
- Determine with Program Director Working group, other program area priorities and the implementation of new projects, as required;
- Negotiate with other agencies, regarding financial agreements, contractual arrangements for LLRIB Internal support services.

Requirements:
- Degree in Administration or Human Resources;
- Minimum of three (3) years experience at a senior management level including human resource and employee supervision;
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in financial budget development and management;
- Excellent planning and policy development skills are required;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
