FCL invites applications for the position of Production Technician in our Home Office located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Technician is responsible for:
1.Typeset and assemble, advertising materials on a Macintosh platform within guidelines and deadlines.
2.Assist with proofing of flyers and other advertising materials at various stages of production for accuracy of pictures, graphics, copy and pricing.
3.Download images/files from FTP site and preflight for production of food flyer.
4.Close crop, colour correct, catalogue, archive and maintain product images.  Table top photography may be required.
5.Organize and prepare food input files in preparation for food flyer production.
6.Other duties as assigned.

The successful applicant will possess a two-year Diploma in Graphic Design or Visual Communications, plus a minimum of two years experience in prepress working on a Macintosh platform.  Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) will be considered an asset.

Please note this is a full time term position for 1 year.
