POSITION SUMMARY:Reports to the Board of Directors. Holds overall responsibility for all aspects of the organization'ss operations. Is responsible for the successful leadership, management, & implementation of the strategic goals & objectives of the organization according to Board direction. Demonstrates knowledge of Community Services Living Delivery (CLSD) person centered philosophy & culture.
KEY DUTIES,RESPONSIBILITIES&TASKS
Oversees & monitors operation of the organization, including planning, implementation & evaluation of the organization's programs & services.
Administers the funds of the organization, prepares budgets approved by the board, & maintains sound bookkeeping procedures.
Ensures the agency human resource functions & strategies are in line with the organization's policies, philosophy & culture.
Develops & sustains community relations in support of agency participants
Identifies & evaluates the risks to individuals involved with the organization, property, finances, goodwill & image & implement measures to control risks.
QUALIFICATIONS
Relevant post-secondary education and experience, with 3-5 years of experience in a management role. A combination of training & experience may be considered.
Knowledge of human resource management, financial & non-profit processes.
Proficiency in spreadsheets, keyboarding, & office equipment
Time-management,organizational & communication skills are essential.
Must be able to work independently or as part of a team to achieve organizational success.
Must provide a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check prior to employment
Must hold a valid driverss license & must be bondable
