Description

We are SUPREME BASICS (A Division of Supreme Office Products Limited); a Saskatchewan owned and operated company that has been in business for over 39 years. Supreme operates 7 locations throughout Western Canada/Ontario, and employs over 350 employees.

The primary function of our Furniture Installation Technician is to deliver, assemble, repair and install systems furniture to customer sites.

Key responsibilities include:
-Load furniture product onto truck, ensuring proper wrapping and secured storage.
-Deliver and install (as assigned) all furniture products.
-Explain product features to customers as required.
-Pick-up furniture returns from customers.
-Report all furniture deficiencies/damage to supervisor.
-Complete all work orders in an accurate and timely manner.
-Provide excellent customer service at all times.

The preferred candidate will demonstrate:
-Demonstrated ability to understand assembly instructions and accurately interpret floor plans.
-Efficient hand tools usage.
-Mechanically and mathematically inclined.
-Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills.
-Strong interpersonal skills (ability to effectively deal with others  tact/diplomacy/courtesy).
-Self-motivated and deadline driven, with effective time management abilities.
-Demonstrated accountability and reliable work attendance.
-Capacity to establish, maintain and promote high standards of professional etiquette and superior customer service.
-Ability to fulfill all physical aspects of job-related tasks (heavy lifting  70+ lbs).
-Ability to efficiently work both independently, and as part of a cohesive team, in a high volume and demanding environment

Minimum qualifications required:
- Valid Driver's License & Clean/Current Driver Abstract
