Our Maintenance People,
As Canada's largest residential landlord, CAPREIT prides itself on the smooth operation and safety of our properties. Our Maintenance crew is responsible for the coordination of all major repairs and improvements necessary for a portfolio of properties. They key goal of the team is to maintain a properly functioning and inviting environment throughout the building for our staff and residents.
An ideal candidate for this position should have excellent communication skills, a background in building mechanics, good knowledge of painting and accessories and general HVAC/plumbing and electrical knowledge. The ability to follow directions, work with tight deadlines and handle multiple jobs in an organized fashion is critical for success in this role. In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess a means of travelling short distances between properties throughout the day.
This position compensates between $48000 -- $52,000 annually (apartment allowance available for live-in maintenance) and offers group health benefits.

- Remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
- Perform routine maintenance jobs and repairs
