OBJECTIVE:
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for the sampling and testing of ready mix concrete and aggregates to ensure the final product meets required specifications. The position also acts as a front line representative of Lafarge at various work sites plus assist customers with enquiries.
QUALIFICATION PROFILE:
Education & Experience
- Civil Engineering diploma or degree
- One year of industry experience is an asset
- Some experience in construction, manufacturing or similar environment an asset
- Experience in ready-mix concrete is preferred
- May consider a combination of both education & experience
- Will require a current valid Class 5 Drivers License.
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong computer skills (MS Office Word, Excel & Email).
- Knowledge of Labsys an asset.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills
- Team player with a willingness to learn and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills

- Good presentation skills
- Must be able to work in outdoor and indoor work environments.
- Must be physically fit and able to work long hours as required.
