Job Summary:
This out of scope (OOS) position, reporting to the Director of EMS, Outlook PHSA and Rosetown PHSA, is accountable for the overall management
of the health services for the Biggar & District Health Centre. The incumbent is responsible for the effective and efficient administration of health care services in a manner consistent with the Vision, Mission, Values, Strategic Directions and Goals of Heartland Regional Health Authority.
Experience:
Minimum of three years Human Resource management or Health Care administration experience preferred.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, Commerce or related field
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and related software, including SharePoint
Effective change agent
Excellent management, leadership, organizational and decision making skills
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Experience in general administration principles including human resources and financial management
Physical ability to perform duties of the position
Possess excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build effective teams and maintain relations based on trust, accountability, and open
communications
Valid drivers license
Other Information
Access to a reliable vehicle as travel is required
