Description

Reporting to the Mill Maintenance Supervisor, this position is responsible for the following duties:

Responsibilities include:
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of all Mill and site electrical systems
- Installing and maintaining high, medium, and low voltage power controls on equipment
- Updating blueprints and documentation as required
- Maintaining and troubleshooting underground electrical equipment and power distribution throughout the plant
- Follow established procedures to locate and correct electrical problems and determine electrical component replacements
- Overtime, call outs, and shift work as required.
- Work closely with mill operations and other departments.
- Suggest ways of improving the efficiency of the plant and department.
- Willingness to assist other trades in completion of their duties when necessary.

Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
- Valid Interprovincial Journeyperson Red Seal ticket
- Experience in industrial maintenance
- High voltage experience would be an asset
- Generator experience would be an asset
- Safety conscious, self-motivated, proficient communication with a strong work ethic

Work Location & Schedule:
- McClean Lake Mine site
- 7 days in and 7 days out rotating schedule

Pick-Up Points: Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows and the designated communities in the Athabasca region of Camsell Portage, Uranium City, Stony Rapids, Fond du Lac and Wollaston
