The AIM (Ability in Me) Program is new to Saskatchewan and is being modeled after the PREP Program in Calgary. PREP is renowned for its success in teaching children with Down syndrome to talk.
AIM is looking for SLPs to lead the implementation of the specialized speech component of the program in Saskatchewan.
You will work directly with clients and their parents, providing small group or individual therapy with regular parent observation. Well-suited candidates love teaching kids how to talk and love sharing their wealth of knowledge and resources with other health care professionals and educators. Must be adept on the computer and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
This job has many opportunities for the right candidate to help children with Down syndrome see the ability in me.
Candidates must be a member in good standing with the Saskatchewan Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA).
