Our company is currently hiring a Structural Steel & Plate Fitter.

You will understand drawings, fabricate necessary materials using the appropriate tools, assemble and fit metal sections together to form complete units, hoist and secure larger parts into position with chain falls or other lifting equipment, construct jigs or patterns to make identical cuts and/or tack weld materials into desired position, operate heavy loading equipment to move and position steel and metal plate or heavy metal parts, operate equipment to reach higher installations, assist welder and follow safe work procedures.

Completion of secondary education required.  Salary to commensurate with experience, education and qualifications - based on $30.00/hr.  Minimum one year work experience.
