Description

PEP is a major partner in building a representative workforce.   RESPONSIBILITIES Acceptance & buy-in to the Vision, Strategy & Rationale in providing the array of employment services & supports of the CAPACITIES Project.
Responsible for managing client case load including CAPACITIES persons with disabilities & multiple barriers as assigned & directed by the executive director.
Responsible for guiding clients along the CAPACITIES employment continuum, Skills Training Employment Plan (STEP), so clients can be employed/self-employed & enjoy independence, self-sufficiency & full citizenship.
Work with clients to develop individual employability by setting realistic occupational goals & determining methods to achieve them, assist individuals to overcome/remove barriers to employment & determine alternate goals & meet personal needs.
Prepare, facilitate and instruct assigned modules of the Readiness Employability Development (RED) program & so that the fullest value of RED is provided to each client.
Travel to maintain regular contact with employers & potential employers by following up on previous placement(s), making job referrals, setting up interviews, negotiating subsidized work placements or work assessments.
The successful applicant will:
-    Have computer, software, networking & reporting skills.
-    Possess a dynamic empathy for participants.
-    Demonstrate a sensitivity to client issues.
-    Display a general knowledge of the regional labour market.  
-    Have knowledge of the Saskatchewan Ministry of the Economy.
-    Be equipped with strong communication, planning & organizational skills.  
-    Possess a valid driver's license, a CPIC, and a reliable vehicle.
