Description

Working closely with the Lumber manager the successful candidate will be responsible for initiating sales calls for residential and commercial projects, preparing project estimates and placing product orders for project sales. As well the successful candidate will maintain excellent store standards, customer service, merchandising and oversee large projects for the retail.
Previous experience is in this field is essential.  Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills as well as a willingness to lead others to success. The successful candidate requires good work ethic, must exhibit exceptional standards and the drive to get things done. Reporting to the Home Centre Manager this position requires a team oriented individual with the ability to work independently and be very visible within the communities Hometown Co-op serves.

Work Conditions:
Fast Paced at times
Monday to Saturday ( in season) ? Flexible Shifts
Monday to Friday (off season)
Some Heavy Lifting and Climbing
Involves working outside in all conditions

Additional Skills:
Provide construction advice to customers and contractors
Estimate materials required and cost for specific projects

Must have experience, Journeyman Carpenter preferred
