The Yorkton Tribal Council is seeking one (1) highly motivated individual for the position of Resource Liaison. Reporting to the Labour Force Development Coordinator, the Resource Liaison is responsible for developing partnerships, within and outside YTC First Nations. The Resource Liaison will develop a list of contacts, a process for referrals, and work with the community resources to develop tools to assess job readiness and address gaps that may be existing. A process will also be developed to incorporate and work with the Stabilization Workers in case management that will provide opportunities for individuals to grow personally while developing skills for job readiness. This position will be located at the Keeseekoose Saulteaux Stabilization Centre.
* Provide support and direction to clients and potential employers at the YTC Personal Development and Employment Stabilization centers and the member communities of the Yorkton Tribal Council.
* Assist Clients in accessing educational information to enhance employability
* Provide Advice and develop support systems for clients on employment assessments, case management and follow up which will include providing support in accessing to employment
* Identify an intensive array of services designed to address the individuals' self sufficiency barriers as they relate to accessing and retaining employment
* Assist in providing clients career path exploration and options
* Prepare program activities and work plans
* Coordinate access to training opportunities for clients
* Provide reports as required to meet program requirements
* Provide briefing notes and follow-reports as required
* Maintain and analyze data as required
* Analyze, provide guidance and options on the priorities for Enhanced Service Delivery
* Work collaboratively internally and externally with colleagues, community and partners.
