The Campus Clerk 4 is an in-scope clerical position reporting to the Associate Director of the Mine School. The incumbent is primarily responsible for a variety clerical support to the Mining and Marketing Departments. The Program Clerk 4 may be assigned a diversity of duties depending on the needs of the office, duties may include, but are not limited to: screening and directing phone calls, compose, type, proofread and edit correspondence or other documents; fax and photocopy documents; responsible the flow and distribution of documents internally and externally, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner (eg. time sheets, contracts, student attendance); develop and maintain filing systems; and other duties as assigned. The minimum qualifications/requirements for this position are: a relevant one year post-secondary certificate or equivalent; one year of related experience; advanced computer skills in word processing (e.g. tables, forms, formatting letters and documents)and spreadsheet software (entering data, creating basic spreadsheets), working knowledge of email (send, receive, attachments); minimum 50 wpm keyboarding with 98% accuracy; extensive knowledge of office procedures and business communication (e.g. composing letters, proofreading, filing, and listening); basic bookkeeping skills; proven ability to practice effective time management and prioritize work; and excellent written, verbal, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
