A challenging opportunity exists for a Health Information Management Practitioner in La Ronge, Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Manager of Electronic Medical Records, the Health Information Management Practitioner establishes and maintains the health records in accordance with departmental, regional and legislative requirements.
To qualify, you will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Diploma in Health Information Management
- Certification with Canadian College of Health Information Management
- Registration with Canadian Health Information Management Association
- Organizational and analytical skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to work independently
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- The successful candidate shall be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check
Additional benefits include: annual education leave, relocation assistance, bi-weekly northern district allowance and one week of special northern leave upon the completion of each year of service.

Selection for this position will be based on Article 9.03 of the SAHO/SGEU Collective Agreement.
