Description

Title:    Cook (Part-time, approximately 25hrs per week)  TLC Daycare Inc.  
Reports to:    Director, TLC Daycare Inc.
Location:    Birch Hills, SK

Job Summary:
The TLC Daycare Inc. is looking for a cook that will responsible for menu planning, purchasing of groceries and supplies and daily preparation of nutritious meals and snacks served to approximately 40 children (ages 6 weeks to 10 years) enrolled in the centre.  The kitchen is to be managed and the work of the Cook is to be conducted in strict compliance with Ministry of Health regulations, and all other applicable legislation. The Cook works in consultation with the Centre Director to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and its coordination with the other programs of the centre.
Interested applicants should possess basic food handling and preparation skills. A current Food Safe course would be preferred; however we are willing to train. Applicants will also need to have or be willing to obtain First Aid/APR Level "C", and a Criminal Record Check.  Wage starting at $11.00 per hour.
