POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Camecos Key Lake operation is the worlds largest high-grade uranium mill. The maintenance team is looking for a motivated individual to contribute to our world-class facility and growing operations. As an industrial mechanic, you will be responsible for performing daily inspections and preventative maintenance checks on a regular basis to ensure safe and efficient productivity at all times. You will complete repairs and overhauls on plant equipment and piping systems, and perform basic welding as required.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements of the position:
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
Journeyperson industrial mechanic certificate
Minimum three to five years of directly related work experience
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good computer and organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
Mill maintenance plant experience
Vacancies identified within a unionized work location will be governed by the respective collective bargaining agreement. In cases where a job opportunity exists, senior qualified employees shall be entitled to preference. The Key Lake operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.
