This is a temporary one year work term, expiring February 2016.
Reporting to the Office Manager, the Administrative Clerk will be the first point of contact for all customers within the Administration Department. In addition, they will be responsible for assisting with various administrative and accounting duties.
Duties will include:
- Customer Service
- Processing accounts payable and sales
- Assist in preparation of accounting records and statements
- Work closely with all team members to ensure compliance on audits, financial reporting, and reconciliation requirements
- Maintain confidentiality and conformity to the Privacy Act and Privacy Policy
- Correspond and interact with outside suppliers and vendors
- Other general office duties as required
We require a highly motivated individual with a positive, professional attitude. Preferred candidates will have experience and/or education in administration or business field.
Qualifications would include:
- Data entry skills with attention to accuracy and detail
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Good team building, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work and multi-task in a fast paced environment
