Elk Ridge Resort invites applications for the position of Spa Manager.
Reporting to the Director of Resort Operations, the Spa Manager will be responsible for all aspects of managing the Salacia Spa at Elk Ridge Resort.

Accountabilities will include:

    Managing a high performing team of estheticians, and registered massage therapists
    Exceed guest expectations by creating Spa service and product experiences of the highest quality, consistency and creativity
    Manage inventory of all spa products and items
    Be committed to lead by example and build an energized team of service oriented professionals by hiring, training and motivating the Spa services team
    Contribute to the overall success of Elk Ridge Resort through strong leadership skills, business acumen, a passion for service excellence and a commitment to creating an exceptional guest experience
    Creating and managing an operating budget
    Be responsible for rules, regulations and procedures for the Spa operation and ensure employees comply
    Supervise the purchase, storage and rotation of all retail and Spa related items
    Ensure compliance to health ministry regulations and policies
    Ensure proper maintenance of spa equipment
    Ensure proper control of costs, labour and quality of service for guests
    Recruitment, training and development of Spa staff.

Position requirements:

    2-3 years of experience in Spa management and services
    Effective written and oral communication and problem-solving skills
    Ability to train, coach, mentor and inspire staff members
    Strong leadership, communication (written & verbal), and problem solving skills.
    Must be available to work weekends and statutory holidays.
    Energetic, outgoing, people-oriented, self-motivated
    Relocation to Elk Ridge Resort or the surrounding area
