Hipperson Construction is a growing, established Regina based General Contractor providing commercial, civil and industrial construction services to the Saskatchewan market. We are currently looking to fill a permanent position in the role of Project Assistant. The Project Assistant position will appeal to an experienced administrator who seeks a position that is vital to the high performance of a team.
Duties:
--Assist Project Managers/Estimators in documentation and correspondence required to accurately submit tender responses and effectively manage construction projects:
--creating, organizing, managing and archiving project files; preparing sub-contractor agreements and award letters
--Assemble data and prepare manuals, policies and correspondence
--Uploading documents electronically
--Some reception duties including greeting
office visitors and answering telephone inquiries, opening mail, faxing,photocopying and filing
Qualifications/Personal Attributes:
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Above average computer skills with Microsoft
Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other document
management software(Adobe)is required
-Efficient, detail oriented, organized and able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
-Able to take instruction easily
-Teamwork oriented
-Personable and professional
-Knowledge of construction terminology and
documents is a definite asset
-Experience working in the construction industry
and an interest to develop skills in this industry is preferred
-Completion of post-secondary school in the field
of business administration or a related discipline is preferred
