Description

To manage Adult Literacy, Family Literacy and English Language Learning Programs.

This position will:

Manage:                               Programs, budgets, reports and proposals
Recruit/Supervise:             Instructors, childcare providers and volunteer tutors
Promote:                              Programs and act as an ambassador for council

Ongoing Learning will be part of this position including training & meetings.  

This is an administrative position not a teaching position.

The successful candidate will possess:

- Exceptional people skills/supervision experience
- Strong computer skills; technology savvy
- Financial/budget experience
- Attention to detail is a must

Hours:
Monday to Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (28 hrs/week)  (Occasional evening/weekend)
Full month of July off with pay plus Christmas break with pay.

Must have a valid driver's license, access to a vehicle and a criminal record check.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 year post secondary education
