Position and Responsibilities
Working with Rabbit Lakes mine geology group, your duties will include geological core logging and sampling, radiometric probing, geotechnical core logging, computerized data management and data QA/QC. You will also be responsible for updating geological interpretations with the latest geological information, and working with various stakeholders to update 3D geological models of the ore body.
This is a term position of approximately 12 months.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
Bachelors degree in geology or geological engineering
Up to three years of relevant geological experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent computer skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Safety oriented work attitude
Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
Previous experience with exploration or in a mine geology work environment
Vulcan experience
The Rabbit Lake operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.
