MINE ENGINEERING SUMMER STUDENT
Northern SK Operation
Position and Responsibilities
You will work with a team of professionals to provide engineering expertise through surveying, ventilation and project work. The successful candidates will work a term of approximately four months (May to August) and will assist with a variety of special projects and other day-to-day activities. Students will be assigned to positions at the Rabbit Lake operation or Cigar Lake operation and will work a rotational schedule commuting to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.
Education and Qualifications
You will be entering your third or fourth year as a mine engineering or geological engineering student. You possess strong organization and communication skills, as well as excellent computer design (AutoCAD) skills.
You must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco.
Preference will be given to residents of Saskatchewans north (RSN) pursuing post-secondary education.
Interviews will take place in January/February 2015. Students will be notified if they are selected for an interview.
