Responsibilities
Maintain multi-structure Operations Centre, both internally and externally and respond to and resolve problems associated with building services and requests
Provide property maintenance, repair and service, preventative maintenance, emergency responses and resolutions to any property deficiencies
Interface and negotiate with building contractors and vendors servicing and supporting the property and tools
Conduct small tools repair, calibration, and tracking
Monitor the use and inventory of tools, equipment and maintenance supplies and initiate reordering when necessary
Monitor preventative maintenance schedules and follow through with them
Co-ordinates the procurement and shipment of a wide range of utility tools used in High Voltage Electrical applications, providing technical guidance in maintaining the high corporate standard set for Safety
Safeguards Quality by calibrating equipment, managing records and documentation and scheduling routine maintenance activities
Experience & Education
High School Graduation Diploma required
Post- Secondary education in small engine repair, building maintenance or related field
Two (2) to three (3) years work experience in small engine repair or related mechanical role
Knowledge of utility industry, equipment maintenance and repair management, and inventory controls
Previous utility industry experience is preferred, inventory management experience is an asset
Formal training in a technical or construction trades environment would be valuable

Sound mechanical aptitude, comfort and familiarity with tools
Customer Service oriented
Organized with the ability to multitask and work with tight deadlines
Proficient with data entry, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and working knowledge of tool tracking software systems
