Catering Coordinator
Summary
Equipped with the RITE attitude and a passion for delivering Ultimate Service, our first responsibility as hospitality ambassadors is to continually strive to create and deliver memorable moments for all of our guests. As a member of the Catering/Sales Team, the Catering Coordinator is responsible for the booking and synchronization of all meetings/functions and guest room blocks.
Job Accountabilities / Responsibilities: (Abbreviated)
Consult with customers to determine objectives and requirements for events such as meetings, conferences, conventions and special events
Effectively manage customer budgets to maximize revenue; knowledge of labour costs, banquet space and food cost.
Prepare proposals, sales contracts and Banquet Event Orders
Prospect potential client leads
Education, Experience and Skills: (Abbreviated)
Post-secondary education or hospitality certificate is an asset
Knowledge of hotel Banquet operations/experience is required
Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Computer literate; experience with Delphi, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
