Part Time Permanent Victim Services Assistant Coordinator
Northeast Regional Victim Services is a non- profit organization which works in cooperation with the R.C.M.P. to provide assistance to victims of crime and traumatic events. Position may require an instantaneous change from a stable calm environment to a highly charged or stressful atmosphere as a result of a crisis occurring within the area of service.
Responsibilities of the successful applicant include effective delivery of information, support, advocacy and links to other resources. The main office is located at the Tisdale R.C.M.P. detachment and will include extensive travel within the region. Job description as per the Corporate Bylaws.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Human Science or combination of education and related work experience.
- Ability to recruit, train and coordinate volunteers.
- Valid drivers license essential.
- Must pass an Enhanced Reliability R.C.M.P. Security Clearance check.
- Must have the ability to work on call both evenings and weekends.
Salary
Salary will be based upon qualifications and experience.
