The Village of Buchanan is presently accepting applications for the position of Administrator. We are looking for someone to come in and head up our village office. This challenging position will involve you in every aspect of our community.
The eligible candidate will preferably have, or be willing to obtain, a diploma in Local Government Administration and to become Certified by the Urban Municipal Administrators Association of Saskatchewan (U.M.A.A.S.)
Regular duties:
- Water billing and levying taxes
- Preparing for meetings and taking minutes at meetings
- Bookkeeping for the Village of Buchanan
- Preparing the annual budget and preparing long range plans for the Village
- Preparing bylaws
- Other duties as required by Council.

Wages will be commensurate with experience and the U.M.A.A.S. salary scale.
Municipal and Accounting experience is preferred.
Local Government Administrator Diploma preferred.
