Skills & Knowledge
* Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal with an ability to effectively communicate through written means, i.e. business letters, e-mail and reports
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
* Knowledge and experience with the game of curling
* Knowledge and experience in preparing tournament draws
* Exceptional organizational skills
* Ability to handle multiple tasks with little or no supervision
* Superior interpersonal skills
* Proven ability to maintain strict levels of confidentiality when handling sensitive materials and information
* Knowledge of entertainment and/or recreation operations is an asset
* Knowledge and understanding of and contacts within curling industry
General Duties & Responsibilities
* Prepare, Schedule and facilitate all MJFCC Leagues and Ice Rental Leagues
* Maintain Daily score sheets, stats and ice allocations for each league draw
* Prepare, Schedule and facilitate all Club Bonspiel Events
* Liaison for non-club hosted events ? i.e. CurlSask, SHSAA, Service Clubs
* Scheduling of all curling facility bookings for all other interest groups
* Promotion of Curling to community to recruit and retain members amongst all age demographics
* Respond to member and general inquiries/concerns in a timely manner
* Establish, develop and maintain relationships with key partners, organizations & affiliates including but not limited to MJFCC Membership, Curl Sask, Curl Moose Jaw and local media
* Preparation of grant applications; club affiliation requirements
This is a term position commencing December 2014 and expected to conclude February, 2016.
