Description

Restwell Mattress Company Ltd. is a fast growing privately owned and operated manufacturer and distributor of mattresses, foundations and other related sleep products.  With manufacturing locations in Surrey, BC and Regina, SK we are one of Western Canadas largest privately owned mattress manufacturers.  We hold manufacturing licenses for Spring Air, Novo Sleep Products and T3 Recovery and Comfort Solutions brands and supply some of Canadas largest National retail chains as well as many independently owned retail bedding and furniture stores.  

Job Responsibilities:
The Sewer/ Seamstress is responsible for producing production orders, ensuring orders are cut & sewn properly per specifications and ensuring production goals/schedules for the day are completed. You will be working with sewing machines, sergers and cutting machines and will be responsible for cleaning & maintaining these machines.

Qualifications:
Prior experience working with sewing machines, sergers, cutting machines preferred
Exceptional eye-hand coordination
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed
Physically fit
Ability to read, write and speak English
Quick learner
Able to multi-task
Efficient
Patience

Hours & Compensation
$14 - $15 per hour. Hours of work may vary based on production demands but will primarly fall within the hours of 7 AM to 3:30 PM Monday - Friday
