Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum Grade 10 education and one (1) year experience in handling and balancing cash or monetary transactions.
Competencies:
Using a variety of assessment tools such as in-person interviews and written examinations, candidates will be assessed against the following competencies:
** Knowledge of and ability to understand and adhere to guest service standards.
** Knowledge of standards, practises and procedures related to service and preparation of food and beverage items, ingredients of popular drinks, safe food handing and sanitary guidelines.
** Ability to perform moderately complex mathematical calculations.
** Able to read, interpret, and apply information.
** Skill in communicating effectively, courteously and respectfully.
** Able to think quickly and logically, demonstrating sound judgement and problem solving skills.
** Skill in the use of computerized tracking systems.
** Able to demonstrate and adhere to principles of teamwork.
Conditions of Employment:
Successful candidates will be required to maintain a Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority - Gaming Employee Certificate of Registration and will be required to perform shift work which includes evenings and weekends.
