The Town of Carnduff is a progressive and growing community nestled in the south east corner of Saskatchewan, approximately 30 kms from the Manitoba border and 20 kms from the United States Border. Oil and Agriculture both remain strong industries for the community.
It is essential that the successful applicant be a proven leader in a team environment. Prior supervisory or management experience in a public works setting is an asset. The successful applicant must possess a valid drivers license equivalent to Saskatchewan Class 5. The successful applicant will be responsible for directing the overall planning, budget control, coordination and implementation of all affairs of the Public Works Department and will possess well developed written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge and experience with mechanical capabilities would be an asset.
The successful applicant should also possess skill in water and wastewater operations. Certification as issued by the Saskatchewan Operator Certification Board, for the classification of Water Treatment 2, Water Distribution 2, Wastewater Collection 1 and Wastewater Treatment 1, would be a vital asset.
