Are you a dynamic, energetic, compassionate person who would enjoy working with youth from the ages of 12 - 17? Do you like spending time recreationally or sharing your talents with youth? If so, we would like to hear from you.
Our Adolescent Group home is designed to accommodate up to 6 co-ed residents.
Qualifications and experience:
Good knowledge of adolescent development
Familiarity with issues of youth at risk
Experience or training in the human services field
Able to provide care and supervision to youth
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Certificate in First Aid with CPR or willing to acquire
Youth Care Worker Certificate or Diploma would be an asset but not essential.
The successful candidate will be required to work shift work, including weekends, weekdays, and some night shifts.
This is a casual shift - relief position - hours are not guaranteed.
All successful candidates will require a clean criminal record vulnerable sector check, Child Abuse Registry check, and a valid Saskatchewan driver's license.
