Description

Adecco Saskatoon is currently recruiting for an Estimator to join our clients growing team in Saskatoon. Our Client is a locally owned and operated sign design and manufacturing business that has been serving the Saskatchewan market for over 30 years.

As an Estimator you will have the responsibility of working closely with multiple internal departments on new and existing projects. This position is extremely important as you are the stop-gap between the sales and production teams. The estimator must be able to read plans and be able to decipherer what the client is looking for, if its possible and most importantly, if it is within projected budget.  

Key responsibilities for the Project Manager / Estimator role include:

Estimating:
- Calculate applicable labor, material and equipment costs
- Ensure estimates are completed quickly and accurately
- Work with sales team to ensure feasibility of projects
- Constantly review new and evolving products/materials etc.

Skills & Qualifications include:
- The ideal candidate will have 2 + years of estimating experience (construction, signage, engineering etc)
- A Mechanical or Electrical Technologist Diploma.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to manage numerous client projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines
- A technical background and hands-on experience in the construction process
- Familiarity with drafting programs such as AutoCad is a strong asset
- Strong computer skills especially in Microsoft Excel
- Previous knowledge of Epicor systems or SAP systems would be an asset
