Looking in Yorkton, SK for a Part-Time (20 hours per week) Grain Marketing Assistant.
The Marketing Assistant role is to assist in the service deliverables of a Marketing Advisor(s) clients.
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Assist Marketing Advisor (s) in the deliverables of the service packages that FarmLink Marketing Solutions offers.
Budget Reports:
Monthly Reports:
Update price discovery spreadsheet daily from local buyers
Update whiteboards
Direct incoming phone calls
Audit files in the grain marketing system (GMS) to ensure contact
Enter sales contracts into GMS
Enter production and other pertinent client information into GMS
Maintain office supplies.
All administration required in managing an office. Ex. accounts payable, client file set-up, managing the physical documentation, etc
Assist in managing special projects such as client/ potential client events, fundraisers, staff events, etc
Education:
Ongoing or completion of a post-secondary education in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Commerce or Business Administration
Grain farm background a definite asset.
Skills and Abilities:
Proven ability to keep pace with fast paced entrepreneurial environment
Good computer skills including ability to use excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, outlook, email, etc
Excellent communication skills, including writing and oral
Strong problem solving skills, creativity and initiative to think outside the box.
Possesses strong listening skills, good judgment and high ethics
High level of organizational skills in an fast paced work environment
