Aero Logistics America (Hangar 6) is currently looking for a Hangar Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description and responsibilities:

Performs routine maintenance around the hangar and provide general repair when
required
Operate and supervise hangar doors operations to ensure that they are only opened and
closed when strictly necessary to maintain the shortest amount of heat loss in the hangar
Operate ground and gate equipment including aircraft tugs and lifts
Provide marshaling services when required
Assist with ensuring safe movement of customer aircraft
Record keeping of arriving and departing aircraft as well as hangar door opening and
closing times
General cleaning of facility including the hangar floor, ramp, washrooms, offices,
common areas
Ensure that snow removal and ground keeping is being done when required
Work schedule: 5am to 1pm
Four (4) months probation period with an opportunity to become a full time ALA team
member based on performance and results
Requirements:
Minimum 3 year facility supervisory or management experience required
Must be familiar with heavy equipment including tractor used for snow removal
Must have general knowledge and experience in carpentry, plumbing and electrical repair
Previous ramp or aviation experience preferred
Must be flexible with work schedule. Shifts may include evenings, weekends and holidays. Employees may be required to work on a on call basis in some occasions
and be available for call outs after-hours
Must understand and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills
Must have the ability to work both independently and as a team member
Must have a valid drivers license and a reliable means of transportation
Hourly rate: $20 for probation period. $21 after successfully completing the probation period.
Call outs and overtime time (if any) are paid as per company policies.
