Independently owned compounding pharmacy is looking for a full time Pharmacy Technician to start between December 8 and December 22 depending on availability.
Pharmacy is open M-F 9am to 5pm, no stats, evenings or weekends.
Position will include taking in and filling prescriptions, general cash duties, answering phones, inventory management, ordering, billing to third party insurance plans/claim reconciliation, and organizing and filling prescriptions for clinics. Additional specialty training may be available for long term employees in areas such as compression stocking fitting, weight loss/wellness coaching, marketing and compounding.
Pharmacy is located within a hospital and this position includes a lot of interaction with the public and other health care professionals therefore empathy, professionalism and excellent customer service skills are a must.
Preference will be given to SIAST trained applicants FROM THE PHARMACY TECHNICIAN PROGRAM.
