LORAAS RECYCLE, the recycling arm of Loraas Disposal Services (formerly All-Green Recycling), is accepting applications for a Forklift/Loader Operator within our Warehouse.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Significant experience and proficiency operating forklifts in a busy warehouse environment(PME certified)- front-end loader experience desirable
- General mechanical aptitude/experience in basic daily maintenance of heavy equipment required
- Safety conscious, able to work safely in sometimes challenging conditions
- Good communication skills
- Motivated, productive, and possession of a positive attitude
- Able to adapt to new situations
- Must have a Class 5 driver's licence with a clean abstract
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Loading and unloading of trucks
- Directing traffic in and around the material delivery and sorting areas
- Sorting and baling various recyclable materials
- Operation & daily maintenance of baling, sorting, and belt-line equipment
- Operation of front-end loaders and forklifts handling loose and baled material
- Maintaining equipment service and facility inspection records
