Full Time Semi-Skilled Position
PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT

NATURE OF POSITION:
This semi-skilled position will involve work in the following areas:  Arena (approximately 8 months); Parks (approximately 4 months).  Cemeteries and assisting with general duties involved with the Swimming Pool (For example, start up and shut down).

    ARENAS:    Perform all such duties, as directed, for the efficient care, maintenance and operation of the arenas and all related equipment, machinery, fixtures.  The ability to work effectively and co-operatively with the public is essential.

PARKS:    Perform all such duties associated with parks and pool operations as directed (as per the semi-skilled classification).

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
As per current Town of Nipawin/CUPE Local No. 777/01 Agreement, Schedule A ? Classifications, Semi-Skilled.  Also must possess valid Saskatchewan minimum Class 5 license.

HOURS OF WORK:
As per current Town of Nipawin/CUPE Local No. 777/01 Agreement Schedule A, B.  Days of Work, C. Hours of Work.  Note:  Arenas includes shift work; days, evenings, weekends.
