RV Service Technician
Glenwood is looking for a handyperson to work as an RV service technician. No RV experience necessary, Glenwood will provide on the job training as necessary.
Duties are broad in scope and require independent judgment and initiative in developing innovative solutions to various challenges and opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Applies troubleshooting techniques and determine proper repair procedures on RVs
Performs duties with minimal supervision
Disassemble, inspect and determine parts needed, and reassemble to factor specifications
Maintains a safe work area for customers and co-workers
Performs Pre Delivery Inspections
Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Skill Set, Education and Experience:
General experience as a handyperson
Ability to work in a fast paced environment where customer satisfaction is the highest priority
Enthusiastic, excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to build and be a part of a team-oriented environment
Creative problem-solving ability
Basic math skills
Familiar with reading and interpreting diagrams
Hands on experience in RV preventative maintenance, propane systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems, air conditioning, refrigerators, heating systems, water systems & slides will be considered an asset but not necessary
Automotive mechanical knowledge an asset
Working Conditions:
Permanent
8am - 5pm Monday to Friday
Overtime available during peak periods
Work is physically demanding and requires repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time
Occasionally required to work outside during inclement weather
