Reporting to the Director of Education the Horizon School Divisions Communication
Officer manages internal and external messaging for the Division and develops and
implements strategies and plans to foster brand recognition and a positive organizational
image. You will provide strategic direction for the communication, driving all aspects of
the Divisions communication strategy and planning, including internal communications,
stakeholder relations, issues management, public consultations, and media relations.
You will also contribute to developing public communications and external relations to
support Divisional strategy and goals.
