Description

The Northern Inter-Tribal Health Authority is a dynamic and evolving healthcare agency that provides health program support to its four northern partners - Prince Albert Grand Council, Meadow Lake Tribal Council, Lac La Ronge Indian Band, and Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation.  

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this position the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

The incumbent will have a college diploma or university degree in computer or IT related field required.
1-3 years related work experience.
Experience installing and troubleshooting workstation computers (i.e. desktops, laptops)
Understanding of network security products; anti-virus software, tools
Experience with installing, securing and maintaining data networking systems (ex. Cabling network equipment, switches, wireless access points, routers, firewalls, tcp/ip protocol).
Strong knowledge of Windows operating system (Windows Xp, 7 & 8), Hardware, Software, PC assembly, PC Components, Networking, computer hardware related to networks, and workstations.
Demonstrates excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and is able to work with a wide variety of people.
Experience in working in a service desk environment providing support.
Prior experience in building workstations and providing support for computer (end) users.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience and certifications with Microsoft and Cisco systems will be an asset.
Experience working in a First Nations organization and/or ability to speak a First Nations language is an asset
