Weatherford is currently recruiting for a Shop Foreman to support our Completion & Liner systems base in Estevan, SK.
As a Shop Foreman your main responsibilities will be to run the Estevan shop while maintaining good housekeeping and a safe environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all of the Shop Technicians understand and are competent in their respective assignments.
Supervise, coordinate, train, and assist all Shop Technicians
Keep shop in good working order
Order all shop supplies
Write P.O's for shop supplies
Replace damaged equipment
Conduct safety meetings
Meet with other company representatives to find the best products and supplies
Create and work orders
Assign Shop Technicians to assist the Field Service Technicians with jobs when required
Transfer equipment to other locations
Call third party companies to pick up waste, i.e. metal and cardboard bins, soiled rags and used oil
Complete monthly truck reports
Keep a working record and day planner of ongoing jobs
Preventative maintenance on company vehicles (get oil changes, tire rotations and send for repairs)
Work weekend back-up shift when required
All other duties as required
Able to identify dangerous conditions and act accordingly
Able to interact and perform successfully within a team environment with a focus on leadership
Ability to trouble-shoot and multitask
Valid class 5 driver's license and clean driver's abstract
2-3 years of related shop experience
Mechanically inclined and basic math skills
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
