Job Summary
Under the direction and supervision of the Home Visiting Supervisor:
1) Provide ongoing intensive support services primarily through home visits, to assigned families and/or pregnant women.
2) Liaisons with the community to case find prenatal women and/or parents with children aged 0 ? 5 years at high risk.
3) Utilize a Home Visiting curriculum
4) The ideal candidate shall possess a minimum of a certificate in Early Childhood Education.
5) The ideal candidate will be asked to work independently and to possess the skills necessary to gather input from the communities through community planning meetings.

- It is required that the applicant have strong oral and communication skills that will assist them in providing reports on progress and to have strong computer skills to track progress electronically.
- Knowledge of the strength-based approach
- Knowledge in early childhood development, family dynamics and prevention strategies.
- Aware of challenges common to high risk families
- Demonstrated ability to relate to families undergoing high degrees of stress
- Able to handle high stress and emotionally demanding work environments
- Must possess a valid driver's license, access to a vehicle, obtain a $2,000,000.00 business liability insurance and have the ability to travel extensively
- Able to work flexible hours
- The ability to plan to achieve overall goals and objectives of the program are necessary.
- Starting salary range from $31,905.00 to $40,675.00 dependent on qualifications and experience.
