Parkland College invites applications for a Mining Essentials Instructor at our Fort Qu'Appelle campus.
This position is primarily responsible for the instruction of the Mining Essentials Program. Tasks include preparing and delivering lessons, assignments, lectures, and exams. Instructors will demonstrate a strong connection to the mining industry and use culturally sensitive materials and methods to achieve the learning outcomes.
Qualifications:
Education- The minimum educational qualification for this position two years of related post-secondary along with training in adult education methods from a recognized adult education institution.
Experience- Minimum of five years recent and relevant experience in the mining and mineral exploration sector.
Candidates must meet MiHR qualifications and receive necessary approval.
Preference will be given to candidates with previous post-secondary instructional experience.
