Description

Tron is seeking 2 (two) JM Instrumentation Technologists for an immediate opening for Key Lake Mine, reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be an integral member of the plant maintenance team responsible for; maintaining, repairing, installing instrumentation equipment in a safe and cost effective manner, and to participate fully in the safety program.  Applicants must have safety certification from a Cameco approved training provider.

Responsibilities
Read and Interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of Industrial Installations
Test Electrical, and electronic equipment
Inspect and test operation of instruments and systems to diagnose faults using pneumatic, electrical and electronic testing devices and precision measuring instruments
Repair and adjust system components, such as sensors, transmitters and programmable logic controllers, or remove and replace defective parts
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work and complete test and maintenance reports
Install control and measurement instruments on existing and new plant equipment and processes
Calibrate components and instruments according to manufacturers' specifications
Promote and adhere to all established policies, procedures and safe work practices
Panel wiring, construction and installation
Maintain & repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors

Qualifications
Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson Instrumentation Technologist Certification
Current Saskatchewan Electrical License
Ability to work independently or part of a team
Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings
Working knowledge of current electrical standards and codes
Previous industrial experience is considered an asset
WHMIS, Fall protection, First Aid, Fire Extinguisher certification from a Cameco approved training provider
