Kanuka Thuringer LLP requires a full-time temporary administrative assistant to provide support in our Swift Current office, for a Maternity Leave. The assistant will deal with all areas of law, with a focus on real estate.
The successful candidate will present themselves in a pleasant, professional manner, be extremely attentive to detail, adaptable, self-motivated, and have the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will also possess strong organizational skills, ability/desire to learn, be comfortable with computers and technology, and will also have strong communication skills. Clerical or administrative experience is strongly preferred; however, legal experience is not mandatory.
The position will involve responsibilities which include, but are not limited to:
- transcribing documents from dictation
- preparation of legal documents
- maintaining electronic and paper filing systems
- effectively communicating with clients, lawyers, and other staff members
- multi-task and juggle numerous tasks in order to meet deadlines in a busy office while paying extremely close attention to detail
