Description

iQmetrix is a Vancouver-based software company specializing in end-to-end retail solutions. Were the North American market leader in retail management software for the wireless industry and have offices in Canada, the U.S. and Australia.

Scope

This is a full-time position for either our Regina, or our downtown Vancouver office (1 block away from Waterfront Station).

In this dynamic environment, the challenges may change, but the skills remain the same. Your passionate about design. You cringe when you notice kerning is off, and get nauseous when you spot Comic Sans used for anything other than a comic strip. You enjoy working with others to share your opinion with those from different disciplines.

You will be able to demonstrate your suitability for this role by providing examples of visuals that you have completed.

Skills & Requirements(in priority):

1. The ability to convey a message in a visually compelling way within branding guidelines (examples: posters, web banners, case studies, infographics)
2. Improving graphics originally built by people from other disciplines
3. Creating reusable branding assets
4. Basic video editing & animation principles
5. Modern web UI & familiar with standard CMS WYSIWYG, plus basic HTML & CSS knowledge (JavaScript is a bonus)
6. Adobe CS
Illustrator
Photoshop
Premier
InDesign
After Effects
7.Microsoft Office, primarily PowerPoint & Word
