The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for providing professional, courteous customer service in person and via telephone. This individual participates in all assigned training, setting and meeting personal goals.
Job Duties
Greet customers, complete necessary reservation information, obtain customer signatures on rental contracts, and update computer accurately while using effective sales techniques to encourage customers to utilize service options and process their credit cards accordingly.
Receive telephone calls, negotiate rental rates and book, confirm, and/or cancel reservations for customers; direct other phone calls to appropriate personnel or take incoming messages.
Maintain and update rental agreement files; contact and notify customers of overdue rental vehicles, inquire expected date of return; process rental extensions and update computer and credit card authorizations accordingly; close rental agreements and complete billing to customers.
Perform other duties as necessary.
Requirements
Excellent telephone manners with the ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and pleasant personality with customers.
Ability to manage stressful and unusual situations while maintaining good customer relations.
Ability to recognize the opportunity to present upgrades to customers.
Punctual for work, meetings and training.
Is accountable; setting monthly and yearly production goals and devising strategies to meet those goals.
Shifts vary throughout the week. Hours between 4pm to Midnight/1am.
