Human Resources Manager

We are currently looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our team! Reporting to the General Manager, the Human Resources Manager is an integral member of the Senior Management Team. The position plays a critical leadership role by developing and implementing policy programs, procedures and protocols that effectively ensure compliance with all legal requirements. The Human Resources Manager will contribute at both a strategic and operational level in order to identify HR priorities and recommend appropriate solutions which support business goals, in addition to providing a customer-focused service.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Providing leadership regarding HR role, service and delivery

Providing leadership and counsel in the development of the organizational design, including position and the organizational structure

Overseeing the development and management of the HR policies and procedures, organizational development strategies and plans, recruitment/ retention, succession strategies and five (5) year human resources plan

Providing leadership in the development and management of HR Department to include:




Qualifications:


A Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management

7 years progressive HR experience, as well as direct supervisory experience in a multi-business company

Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered

CHRP designation is an asset

Excellent understanding of employment law

In-depth knowledge of business principles and practices

Strong leadership, coaching, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills

Excellent conceptual, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

Demonstrated ability establishing collaborative working relationships with individuals and groups

Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Class 5 drivers license
