Our client is on the lookout for a qualified Receptionist to perform front desk duties and be a cheerful first point of contact.
If you are upbeat, organized and enjoy dealing with people, this may be the role for you!
You will:
- Greet walk-in visitors/customers.
- Respond to telephone calls (multi-line switchboard), relay messages, etc.
- Interact with customers on a professional level.
- Provide personalized customer service.
- Complete data entry and/or light administrative assistance.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Grade 12
- Office Education Certificate or relevant training preferred
Experience:
- 2 to 3+ years experience intermediate level.
Computer:
- Basic Word and Excel.
Personality/Desired attributes:
- Outgoing, confident, down to earth.
- Professional, impeccable people skills on the telephone and in person.
- Must be able to multi-task in a busy work environment; can stay cool under pressure and deal well with people.
- Ability to interact with people and remain focused on the task at hand.
- Common sense, maturity; eagerness, ability to learn.
- Strong customer service.
- Wants a long-term position.
